Welcome everyone to the first official public airing

of words spectacularly Yogic and amusingly breathlike

- at least in Newslettered form!

Hereon you can expect Discussions on Health, Yoga, Philosophy, and Laughing; the latest outbreak of radical Theory on Life and Chocolate; and occasional references to Food, Astrology, special finger-nail exercises, Psycho-Somatic traps and Ladders, Laws of Mind and cats, and all the Nothings that make up the Universe!

All Feedback is Welcome, and can be included in a Public Response section. Invitations also, for Articles on related topics by your good selves. Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Magic, Shiatsu, White Light Essences, Grass-Watching…if you have something to offer, please do!

Also, a Question-Answer section: so if you have any Yoga questions,
please throw them up for discussion.

A Monthly Bargain will be offered, and the occasional Expression Mark!
When that occurs you are supposed to laugh. Like a Lunatic (works well).

SO LET’S START:

‘Like a Stone falling through Water,
so the Yogi exists through Life’s Moments’.

Living the life of Freedom, a Yogi is not fixed inside Time. The Past can become irrelevant, the Future is an irrational concept, and the Now is simply ‘what’s Happening’. I always noticed that my teacher in India - Sunil (click here for a picture) - might seem to some people to be a bit nuts. He could get completely involved in some drama at times, and look as though he was very attached. It seemed to me over time that really all he was doing was getting involved for Fun. Most people spend their whole lives obsessively involved in constant dramas that are desperately important at the time. Then they spend much time concerned not only about What Happened, but also What Should Have happened, and what Should Happen. The difference, I think, with my teacher, was that he was Choosing to get involved. He was not compulsively lost inside the moment. He was aware, and amusing himself, living life in a Maximum way. He would often mention the phrase “You will enjoy this pose”, or “Enjoy!”. And then he might piss himself laughing. It always seemed to me that even though it seemed to matter, each drama did not really matter. Nothing did. Because all of life was amazing to him, and he was enjoying every part of it, good or bad. So as each moment occurred, he would dance with it, and then move on to the next thing - just like a child. Meanwhile I was sitting there Understanding what had Happened. By then he might have been involved in something else, in another way. And so the Energy was Free.

This is Freedom. When Trust is completely there, it does not matter what happens. We do not need to be attached to what happens. One of the most advanced of the Yogic philosophies is that We are obsessively lost inside a Story - that the world is happening to Us. This is known as Maya. As long as this belief continues, we will struggle with it, fear it, and seek to control it. Imagine if you could just let go…

CHAKRA FOR THE WEEK:

ANAAHATA - The Heart Chakra (The Fourth).

  • Celestial Wishing Tree.
  • Sound of ShabdaBrahman (sound of bell) is heard

without the issue of striking two things together.

  • Twelve Petalled Lotus - Colour Vermillion.
  • Abode of Mercy.
  • Mantra: LAM (similar to OM).
  • Visualise a black Antelope, similar to a deer - a very shy, fast and graceful-moving animal. Its symbolic expression here is connected with spiritual experiences which go before the self can grasp them and know them, moving quickly away from the eye of the ego.
  • Objects: Paasa - Noose (Being caught in expectation of spiritual experiences). Skull (Pure Mind).
  • The Black Antelope symbolises fleetness; spiritual experiences are fleeting.
  • The Shakti Element of Speech. Go out and tell people you Love them.
