Hello
Folks, Hoping all is well.
*
TWO
BREATHS
These breaths are perfect for stress
release
and also for freeing up the body and its muscular tension.
Both Deep Sighs,
they would be done in a way that expresses:
1) "I am releasing tension deeply out of my body";
while the other is a bit different and expresses:
2) "I have just (already) released a whole lot of tension from my body".
(This one has a different feeling, containing "Relief")
Try these at the Tramstop, or at the Disco!

DOCTOR
QU'AC
"Vegetarian: To Be or not to Be?
(from a Yogic perspective)"
(from Yosephine)
Doctor Qu'ac says:
It's always an interesting subject,
because given that most vegetarians don't eat meat
as a way to be healthy, it's quite possible
to say that being obsessive in any way is Unhealthy!
There are usually two main reasons
to be vegetarian:
Moral - an animal must be killed, to be eaten; and
Health - meat makes the body heavy,
the digestion system laboured, and some believe that humans
are not designed to eat meat (ie: it is not good for them).
Regardless of what western science
comes up with
on any given year, there is no definitive proof
that meat is the right part of a healthy diet, or wrong.
So, ultimately, the choice comes back to each human
as to their own health and body, and morals.
Given that the moral issue is
always based on perspective,
my Yogic perspective is that we all believe what we want to believe,
change that if we want to, and would do well not to tell anyone else
what the Truth is for them,
knowing that any person
can have different truths at different times also.
I'm more interested in the
body/health debate:
It must be considered that just testing your body's reactions
to meat, or to vegetarianism,
over a one year period,
is also not definitive because our bodies are moody,
we go through different phases,
plus our own mental/physical states are not consistent.
Usually a three year test will be more reliable.
Personally, I eat meat if I feel
like it.
I don't believe in making fixed decisions about anything,
nor in being a control freak. Nor in being obsessive.
To me these psychological traits feel unhealthy.
And the Avadhutta Gita clearly
shows that anyone
caught inside Duality is not only foolish, but ignorant.
The Vegetarian debate is classicly Dualist.
I've not yet felt
certain that meat is detrimental to my health.
Though whilst in India I never eat meat,
and always feel my health and digestion are at their best there.
In my opinion it is almost always
irrelevant what food we eat;
it is much more relevant how our psycho-somatic state is.
It is always obvious in the extreme conditions of India,
that the neurotic, worried or stressed person gets sick,
regardless of what food they are eating.
As with Tantra, "Let go, trust
your instincts, and observe".
